If, for some shameful reason, your WoW machine is not equipped with a DVD ROM, then you can say goodbye to future adventures in Northrend. Blizzard has confirmed that the latest expansion to its massive MMO, Wrath of the Lich King, will be distributed only in DVD format. A moderator in the European forums posted:

"World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King will only be available on DVD, not on CDs. That goes for both the regular box and the Collector's Edition."

Ohhh comon. I never get to use my floppy drive any more. I was really hoping my super collectors edition would come on 5,675 floppy disks.
